We never thought we’d say it, but we’re sick of wearing sweatpants all of the time. Because, while they’re quite comfortable, we never feel our best when we’re wearing them. This is why, even if it’s only for a trip to the grocery store or a socially distanced walk with a buddy, we’ve decided to start wearing genuine clothing again. There’s just one problem: we’ve forgotten how to put together a non-pajama look. So we went to one of our favorite places to look for wardrobe ideas: Amazon’s #FoundItOnAmazon page. Here are nine of our favorite winter ensembles that are only available on Amazon.
1. TIGHTS + COMBAT BOOTS + SHACKET + SWEATER DRESS
Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise: you can certainly wear a shacket with a sweater dress. You’re ready for an outside dinner date with some patterned tights and Docs to complete the ensemble.
To get the look, wear an Uaneo shirt jacket ($39); a Caracilia sweater dress ($33); Calezdonia tights ($20); and Dr Martens boots ($170).
2. BOOTIES + MOTO JACKET + MOCKNECK + BLACK JEANS
This outfit reminds us of something we’d put on for a night out with girlfriends. But for now, we’ll have to make do with walking the dog in this all-black costume. Fingers crossed, at least, we’ll be able to get an Instagram shot out of it.
To get the look, wear a LY Varey Lin jacket ($60), a Mangopop mockneck shirt ($20), Levi’s trousers ($40), Wetkiss boots ($60), and a Chic Unique Choker ($20).
3. SCARF + FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS + BOOTS + SLOUCHY SWEATER
If you can’t bear the thought of wearing actual pants, go for a pair of leather leggings instead. They’ll have a higher profile than your Lululemon aligns, but they’ll still be very cozy. You’ll look wonderfully put together for your 9 a.m. Zoom conference if you wear a slouchy sweater and a leopard print scarf (even if your coworkers can only see the top half of the outfit).
Get the look: Dolnine sweatshirt ($26); Urban Coco scarf ($17); Tagoo leggings ($29)
4. JEANS + BOOTIES + FAIR ISLE SWEATER
A classic Fair Isle sweater should be in everyone’s closet, it’s the pinnacle of comfortable winter sentiments. Put on a pair of medium-wash denim and a pair of booties for a reliable go-to look.
Get the look: Find sweater ($44); Levi’s jeans ($40); Frye boots ($110)
5. WATERPROOF BOOTS + PUFFER + LEOPARD VEST + FAUX LEATHER LEGGINGS + LEOPARD VEST
Because the sherpa vest and faux leather leggings give the best possible contrast, we’re partial to the smart combination of materials in this specific ensemble. Blogger Louisa Moje finished off her ensemble with a pair of Sorel waterproof wedge boots, which she describes as a “winter wardrobe must-have.”
Choies vest ($33), Retro Gong leggings ($47), Sorel boots ($119), and Orolay jacket ($150) are all part of the ensemble.
6. SNEAKERS + CAMEL COAT + COWL NECK + BLACK PANTS
Do you want to go for a more minimalist look this year? This outfit is made up of classic elements that you may wear over and over.
Get the look: Amazon Essentials Jacket ($40); Anrabess sweater ($25); Lee pants ($22); Reebok sneakers ($70)
7. SUNGLASSES + SWEATER DRESS + KNEE-HIGH BOOTS
This could be our all-time favorite #FoundItOnAmazon outfit. You might wonder why. The knit bodycon dress appears incredibly elegant and sophisticated, yet it’s so soft and comfortable that it practically qualifies as loungewear.
Rocorose dress ($35), Chinese Laundry boots ($130), and ZeroUV sunglasses ($15) are all part of the ensemble.
8. BOOTIES WITH SNAKE PRINT PLUS KNIT SET
If you replace your favorite knit loungewear set with this more upmarket option, your date will be hard-pressed to recognize you on a Friday night takeout date. Reviewers laud the fact that these pieces may be mixed and matched with other items in your closet.
Get the look: The Drop boots ($70); Daily Ritual set ($69).
9. SNEAKERS + TIE-DYE SWEAT SET + POM-POM BEANIE
Tie-dye sweatpants are definitely here to stay. Wear your favorite attire with a charming pom-pom beanie to make it more winter-ready.
Get the look: The Drop sweatshirt ($45); The Drop sweatpants ($45); Reebok sneakers ($56); Furtalk hat ($19)
